I've never had curtains outside of the bedrooms in our home. Maybe it's because I grew up with custom ones in every room, and I took them for granted. None the less, after two years in our second home, I was tired of the living room feeling stale. We'd purchased furniture, hung photographs, and decorated for the seasons, but nothing felt right. I didn't want to block the natural light and we had plenty of privacy in our back yard. I also didn't like the idea of a traditional valance. I felt stuck with no options until one day I got the idea for upholstered tufted valances. Of course, I knew Pam would be able to bring my idea to life. From fabric selection to sizing, Pam had the perfect eye, and even had the idea to add them over our glass doors and kitchen sink, tying our whole space perfectly together. As soon as they were installed, our home felt complete.
